Raleigh competition 80’s racing road bike silver/dark bluey grey colour. 501 lightweight frame, 12 speed. 23″/59cm frameI purchased this 80’s road bike to ride during summer months, sadly I don’t now have the time or space to keep this lovely bike anymore hence reluctant sale.Reynolds 501 sticker on the downtube, with ‘501 TI’ stickers on the front forks as shown in the pictures. Frame size: From mid-Bottom bracket to top of frame 23″/59cm, Top tube 22″/56cmShimano 105 brakes and 105 gearset. Front chainrings have 52 and 42 stamped on them. No markings on the cassette, 12 speed. Gear change levers are ‘Shimano Light Acton’. ISCA Iscaselle cream suede saddle in very good condition.Wheels 700×23, Weinman sticker on the rim. A few front wheel spokes are showing some very light surface rust, does not affect performance when riding. Tyres are Bontrager Race Lite Dual Compound road tyres, hardly worn 700×23. Rear wheel has Bontrange lever stamped on it, front wheel lever Schimano.Handlebars Cinelli Criterium 65-42 stamped on them. Note handlebar stem length 4.5″ 11cm. Brake cables route inside the handlebar, grey handlebar tape. Brake levers are Shimano 600.The frame has some minor age marks as shown in the pictures.This is a lovely vintage bike to ride.Cash on collection only please – NO PAYPAL (to stop extra PayPal fees), thanks for understanding.
