Classic 1983 Raleigh, in very good condition for a 40+ year old bike, almost all original spec with the innovative Shimano 600ax groupset.
Frame is clean and dent free, areas of surface rust as shown. Original Road Ace decals all replaced with Bill Nickson shop stickers (repro kits easily sourced). Seat stay caps on these are all cracking due to age, see pics (or ask for more).
Smart bike, has new tubular tyre on the rear that has not even been glued, front needs replacing (mavic gp4 rims). Ready for a rebuild and a bit of tinkering. Has the original tornado saddle, bar end plugs but the original bars have been replaced with Cinellis, stem is missing the plastic cap but again an easy item to replace with repro.
I measure it as 22.5” centre to very top and top tube is 56cm centre to centre. Seatpost and stem moving freely, please assume BB, hubs and headset need a rebuild.
