Hi there, very reluctant sale of my beautiful 1980’s Raleigh, Reynolds 531.
Would suit someone approximately 6ft tall.
58cm top tube x 62cm seat tube.
I had this bike built with the intention of taking part in Eroica events, but I have run out of space for bikes!
Almost all components are new, the wheels are hand built and it is in amazing condition. Looks great with the Rainbow stripes paint job. This bike has been carefully and completely overhauled, however there are some small marks due to storage, but overall incredible condition.
Here’s the new parts:
Hand built wheels, Mavic open pro rims, DT Swiss flat bladed aero spokes, sealed bearing high flange hubs.
Velo Orange Dajia compact handlebars.
Dia Compe tan brake hoods.
Front/rear brake cables + gear cables.
Chain, 6 speed cassette.
Lizardskinz 3.2mm black bar tape.
The original parts have all been removed, polished, cleaned, re-greased and re installed.
Selle San Marco saddle.
Goccia aero quill stem.
Mtb spd pedals.
The bike has a wide range of gears to help up the climbs, it is also surprisingly light and stiff. Despite the age of the bike it can still hold its own, I used the bike for a 3rd cat crit and managed a podium!
