Raleigh Scorpio from around 1990.
This is in a good condition and ready to ride. As a look down project I recently stripped the bike down completely and have cleaned, regreased and rebuilt. Including a new chain and handlebar tape. Only selling as I need the space.
However, as a 30 year old bike it has the usual signs of wear and has had a few part changes over the years.
This still has SIS indexed down tube shifters but is an 16 (2×8) speed rather than the 12 it had out of the factory.
There is the odd touch up on the frame. On the rear stays I had to dark grey ona coupe of spots (after removing rust and treating with Krust) as I didn’t have a suitable purple (see photos).
There is also a small tear in the saddle (shown in photos).
