Well, what can I say about this bike: It is a beast! Fastest bike on the Thames embankment. FACT! It is the fastest bike I have ever owned.
Bought 4 years ago for £1600. Used in the streets of London, never ridden off-road. Solid bike. Built like a tank. You can abuse it as much as you like, it will take the abuse. From a personal experience, I would say it is very stable on the road, easy to handle, VERY light, maneuverable, you always feel that you are in charge, breaks work perfectly.
The problem is it is too big for me. I’m 5 foot 6 inches tall with short legs. The frame is 56cm. No matter what adjustments I would make (adjustable stem, saddle position ext.) I would always get lower back, elbow and wrist pain. I had my inseam leg measured at Evans Cycles last week. They advised me to look for 51cm frame bike. Hence the sale.
Usual wear and tear marks as you could expect from the used bike, nothing major. The only thing I could point out to is the derailleur. It skips the gear every now and then. I am certain it is easy to fix. It is a matter of fiddling with the cables.
All in all, a lot of a bike for the money.
