Retro Raleigh Reynolds 531 road race racing bike
High quality Raleigh road bike that’s been in stored for a while – it’s not getting used so needs a new home. It features a Reynolds 531 frame and decent Shimano 105 components.
Condition: It’s used so has age related chips scuffs and corrosion on the paintwork, and some very light corrosion on some steel parts – it has been resprayed at some point (but not very well) and the paints flaking in places. It will be worth refinishing in the future. There are a couple of cracks around rim ferrels – the rims are true and have good spoke tension.
The seat post and stem move in the frame for height adjustment.
Frame/Fork: Reynolds 531 steel main tubes
Transmission: 14 speed Shimano 1055
Brakes: Shimano 1055
Wheels: Shimano 1055 hubs and Mavic 700c rims
Finishing kit: 3TTT bars and stem, alloy seatpost , Condor saddle – the bike will have handlebar tape fitted
Size: 60cm seatube (measured centre to top) – The bike is set up for me and I’m 6’ 2” so the bike should fit a rider 5’ 10” to 6’ 3”
Collection only: Little Chalfont, Bucks, or I can meet you at Chalfont and Latimer station (Metropolitan or Chiltern line).
