Simple things first – the bike is a large with a top tube of 56cm and a stem of 100mm. The handlebars are standard road handlebars and if you’re around 5’11, it’s pretty much dialled in. If you’re either side of that, you’re going to want to change the stem, the best way to get the right fit straight away. The groupset is Shimano 105 2×11, the pedals are Shimano SPD 8100s, the saddle is Sella Italia Boost, the tyres are Pirelli Cintaratos, which have some of the best puncture protection on the market. I love this bike, but it has become wall art since an injury and I am only riding with bigger tyres now. I have ridden this long distance with utter joy. The more you go, the better it feels. Honestly made me fall in love with cycling in an entirely different way. It’s gone to Birmingham and back and up Caerphilly mountain amongst just smashing commuting with ease. The bike was always kept inside and has been part of a stable of bikes, so has not been overused and is in great condition. The bike has been recently serviced. Truth be told, I had to bend a chainring back into place but its aligned fine and causing no issues. The rear hub life left in it, but if I were to upgrade the bike, start with the wheelset.
