for auction is my Scott Foil 20 Aero race bike with a 54cm frame. There’s no
reserve so grab yourself a bargain!
It’s
a fast bike in good condition that’s just had a wheel service, so running
sweet! It’s 10 speed & has Shimano Dura Ace 6900 crank set and cassette. Brakes
rear mech and shifters are Ultegra. 3T Carbon Ergonova Team 40 cm bars,
Specialized Romin saddle (size 143mm) and a Thomson stem. Wheels are the best
I’ve ever had – 40mm deep carbon clinchers with a U shape profile, done 3000km.
Bearings are good and easily serviceable, better, faster, more versatile wheels
than my previous HED 6 Flamme Rouge’s. Great in side wind or spinning up quick
out of corners. Conti tyres. Put the power down and it jumps forward then
holds the speed with the Aero flow.
Comfortable
too over long rides. I raced as a 2nd Cat and this performed
amazingly.
Titanium
Look Keo pedals are Aero, broad and super light, transitioning all the power
put through them effortlessly.
Albassini
won a stage in Le Tour on a very similar set up.
Will
post for £30, but would prefer if buyer collects, I’m based in Brighton.
Selling as I’m no longer racing and it’s too much of a bike to ride
occasionally.
Sorry, forgot to mention, I added a ceramic bottom bracket from Holland too
