I’m a specialist in finding bikes with low mileage but this one is something special. The original owner said he’s only ridden it twice!

It’s a Scott Speedster 10 which means it’s one of the best alloy frames out there with real trickle down technology from Scott’s top end race machines.

The frame is super light (even for an XXL) and the carbon forks really help soak up vibrations from the road.

The drivetrain is Shimano 105 5800, which is the absolute sweet spot of the Shimano hierarchy. This is the first time that Shimano 105 went 11-speed so you get the same gearing as Ultegra/Dura Ace but without the price tag. The shifting is rapid, precise and dependable.

This bike features climbers gearing of 32/11 and a compact 50/34 Crankset. The cassette features a 32 teeth lowest gear, which will really help when it comes to the hills. It makes pedalling easier so you can push a higher cadence to get to the top of the climb. If you’re coming from a 28t lowest gear you’ll notice a big difference in the way this bike will get you up those hills.

The factory fitted Kenda tyres show how little mileage this bike has done. The rubber moludings are still visible in the middle of the tread pattern.

In preparation for sale I’ve given this bike it’s first service and safety check. The gears shift perfectly and the brakes are sharp. The bike is ready to hit the road this weekend in total confidence.

The doublebutted 6061 alloy frame and carbon fork combination work together stupendously, reducing vibrations from the road in the front end and remaining light weight enough for efficient climbing and long distance spinning. Scott’s Syncros finishing kit is used throughout, with the headset, stem and handlebars further increasing strength and durability.

Tektro SCBR-525 brakes produce confidence inspired braking when descending, meaning when you reach the top of that hard-fought climb, you can relax and shoot down the other side without worry.

Shimano’s 105 5800, 11-speed gearing is known for its durability, reliability and predictability, so when the gradient takes a ramp, you can sit back and spin or sprint up for that KOM. An 11-32t cassette adds to this variety, giving you that extra push when your legs start to get tired.

Scott’s Syncros Race 22 wheelset with Kenda Kontender tyres are a worthy addition to a bike of this nature. The wheels are strong and rigid, but also have enough suppleness to absorb road inconsistencies, and the tyres increase puncture protection without affecting rolling resistance.
