Scott Speedster 30 road racing bike aluminum carbon shimano 105 . Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class. Very highly specced Scott Speedster 30 road racing bicycle in very good condition. I believe it is a 2009 model and a 56cm size Large frame.It comprises of an unsusual hydroformed aluminum frame and carbon fibre forks, this gives for a very lightweight (under 10kg fully built and on the road!) and rigid frame without being too harsh to ride. This has then been built up on semi deep dish bontrager wheels which are very nice and ride beautifully, these and currently on summer slick Hutchinson fushion tyres which are a few years old but do hold air and ride fine, these are 700x23c size which I found was the ultimate in speed without sacrificing too much comfort. This is running on a FULL Shimano 105 groupset which is very high spec for this bicycle, that is 105 everywhere from the shifters, front and rear derailleur, brakes and even the crank. Bolted to the crank are matching silver Shimano SPD pedals that have not seen much use and are easily changed to SPD SL or flat pedals if you so desire.The previous owner had ridden 120+ miles in a day on this and done 50 MPH, both of which felt completely fine and with no wobble is other issues. ( I have not used since purchase, ordered in error, I was bidding on two bikes)Weighing in at under 10kg as it stands this bicycle is quite capable of longer distance or has racing potentialThere is the odd scratch etc being a used bicycle but these are nothing serious and in general it is very tidy with almost new bar tape and SPD pedals. I have regularly washed and dried it.
