This is a great high spec entry level race bike or a nice step up into TT/triathlon bikes if you’re already used to road cycling. I bought this bike brand new as a step up to my cycling kit in advance of doing a Half Ironman but broke my shoulder in a cycling accident (on another bike!!) before I could ever train or compete on this bike. I’ve never been able to get up the courage or confidence to ride this one (and it hurts my shoulder to go into the aero position) either for leisure or for racing. It has done a couple of months on a turbo trainer in my living room (using a training tyre), and I rode it home from the shop when I purchased it (original receipt available and will be provided with sale of bike) but other than that it has not been ridden. I’m now heavily pregnant so unlikely ever to ride it. I’d rather see it go to someone that does have the time, confidence and desire to use it for what it was built to do. I also need the space and the cash – babies are expensive!!There are some freebies I’ve thrown in including:SPD SL pedals in black to match the frame – the original pedals have long since gone and were only flat standard issueTwo Specialized bottle cages (see photos)
The bike does have a couple of small nicks. One on the bar-tape which I think happened whilst it was leant up against the garage wall. The other is on the frame cross bar (see photos) and has had a repair done at Cycle Surgery. Other than that, this bike is as new and just needs someone with the will to ride it rather than gathering dust in my garage.
It comes from a smoke free and pet free home and has been kept in a locked weather-proof heated garage when it wasn’t on the turbo trainer. Happy to supply more photos and answer questions. You can come and do a test ride, but I will require a cash deposit of the equivalent to the buy-it-now amount in my hands before I let the bike out of my sight.
