Specialized Tarmac Pro Di2 which is an amazing bike to ride. This cost me £5750 and is mint.

It is a size 54cm which is suitable to both men and women 5ft5 to 5ft11. The colour is absolutely gorgeous – the official colour is “Oil Chameleon/Acid Pink Clean” The colour seems to change depending on how much light hits it and what time of day it is, its completely stunning with what looks like metal flakes in the paint.

The Ultegra R8150 Di2 Groupset is incredible to use and paired with the Super light Carbon CL50 wheelset this is one complete racing bike with super clean shifting each and every time.

This bike is incredibly light and agile and its hard to describe but as soon as you start riding it you know it is something very special.

Specialized Specification:

If you’re looking to gain a competitive edge so you can excel on an elite level, we made the S-Works. But, if you’re looking for phenomenal performance on an amateur racer’s budget, you can’t look past the Tarmac Pro with Shimano Ultegra Di2.

We used techniques from aerospace engineering to revolutionise the layup of our FACT 10r carbon, shedding 200 grams from the frame in the process. That means the Tarmac Pro’s frame tips the scales around 950 grams. This is the most advanced material and schedule we’ve ever put together, creating a 20% reduction in frame weight. Get this bike and we’re certain your hill climb times will tumble.

We’ve taken our our Rider-First Engineered technology to the next level, so you can be sure the new Tarmac is compliant and stiff in all the right ways and all the right places. We’ve also revamped the geometry, drawing on first-hand experience from Specialized pros and the frankly huge number of data points we have available in our Retail database.

It has meant we’ve been able to perfect a performance road geometry that gives an ideal combination of short wheelbase and responsive front end, leading to peak performance in power transfer and instantaneous response.

Despite all these improvements to stiffness, we haven’t forgotten ride quality. We built in compliance across the bike for an optimal ride that won’t leave you feeling bruised and battered when you get home. To this end, we designed a seat post with compliance in the upper 120mm where there isn’t clamping, as well as dropping the seat stays further down and changing the seat tube shape. We also increased tyre clearance to 30mm, meaning you can easily fit in a 28mm Turbo Cotton on one of our Roval CL50 wheels.

Bigger tyres mean you can run lower pressure for increased traction and comfort, at the same time as giving lower rolling resistance. It all means the Tarmac can tear up races like a monster, while still taking the sting out of road imperfections, leaving you fresher at the end of long rides.

This is all well and good, but when it comes to how we can make you faster, aerodynamics is key. Our Quick-Step Floors and Bora-Hansgrohe WorldTour riders are always demanding improvements in aerodynamics on every new bike, and when it came to this Tarmac, we really wanted see where we could add aero in for free’ without sacrificing what makes the Tarmac what it is.

Over the course of six months we looked at all kinds of ways to do so, coming up with three key areas where we could do just that: a new fork shape; a new D-shaped seatpost and seat tube; and dropped seatstays with aero tubes.

The resulting effect is a bike that is 45 seconds ahead of other lightweight bikes in the same category over 40km, and that’s a difference you’ll really know about when you’re attacking off the front of the bunch (or grinding hard to keep with the bunch!)

We’ve built this tarmac up with Shimano’s new Ultegra 8150 Di2 groupset and direct mount brakes, with the impressively aero but affordable Roval CL 50 wheelset and 26mm S-Works Turbo tyres.

• The FACT 10r carbon frame combines the lightweight performance and compliance of our top-end carbon production methods with our Rider-First Engineered design that ensures every frame size has the same legendary climbing responsiveness and descending prowess you’d expect from a Tarmac.

• S-Works full FACT carbon fork with a tapered construction provides incredible front end stiffness and steering response for instantaneous accelerations and high-speed descents.

• A 52/36T S-Works alloy crankset is incredibly stiff, with a chainring grouping that’s equally suited to big alpine climbs as it is to throwing down the gauntlet on the flats.
