For sale my brilliant Boardman “Sport” Road BikeMade from 7005 aluminium alloy with double-butted tubing, which means that the walls are thinner in the central sections of the tube to save weight, and thicker at the ends to provide strength where it’s most needed. The 56cm (22″) frame is a perfect fit for me at 6 feet tall. The standover height is approx 80cm (31″) with a reach from the seat to the bars of approx 61cm (26″).There are nice commuter-friendly touches, with rack/mudguard eyelets/mounts at the back on the front allow fork, and enough clearance to fit mudguards and rack. The Mavic CXP22 wheels are also excellent quality and very sturdy, able to take a rack and heavy pannier bag without the spokes pinging halfway to work!ConditionLow overall mileage; kept in storage – I have had it serviced before listing to ensure it is ready for the road with a new SRAM cassette freewheel, new inner cabling, new Duro tyres and new gecko handlebar tape. Cosmetically it is very nice indeed – there are couple of chips to the left front fork (illustrated in the photos), and some scuffs to the STI shifters from general handling – but these are not obtrusive.
