SWORKS Specialized Venge Vias Silver 2017 Model Unique Modified 54 Medium Carbon Road Racing Bike Bicycle.
This bike has been my pride and joy for the last few years. This is the rim brake version of the Sworks Venge Vias, a very unique bike which at the time was the fastest road bike in the world. This one has a special paint job, a replica of Marcel Kittel’s Tour de France stage winning bike. Along with the help of my local bike shop, I modified the front end, changing out the fork to a disc brake fork, so I could have the front as a disc brake, as you can see from the pictures. This, I felt gave me much better and more superior braking, as the venge vias brakes a very complex to get set up and perfect. I am including the original Venge Vias fork in the sale, so you can convert it back if you wish. It has a 50mm carbon rear wheel (rim brake) and a 30mm carbon front wheel (disc brake).
11 speed ultegra mechanical, with a 52 36 ultegra chainset, ultegra front and rear derailleur and 11 speed Dura Ace shifters.
As you can see from the pics, there are some scratches to the rear derailleur, a few chips on the frame paint, and some scratches here and there, as you would expect from a second hand, used frame. There is also some marks from chain rub behind the chainset on the frame. This does affect the integrity of the frame. It could also do with a new seat post at some point, as one side of the saddle rail holder is rounded off, however, I have modified this with a washer and it has never been a problem for me. This is all reflected in the price.
Cassette is 11 32. Stem is 110mm, handlebars are 42 and are the aerofly riser bars and all the cables go through the bars and the stem, so you cannot see any cables from the front. Comes with gatorskin tyres 23 and 25mm.
All in all, it is a fantastic bike, that I have absolutely loved. An absolute weapon, which has seen me do a 21 min 10 mile with no TT bars. It’s super aero and would make a great bike for someone, now I have decided to go full disc brake.
