For sale is my trusty Trek Madone 2.1 Road Bike (labelled ‘Factory Racing’). For some time this has been a solid training bike, and it has stood me very well. Due to a move of house (and far too many bikes), it sadly has to go!The bike looks good (as per the photos), but has a few inevitable scuffs (also pictured), particularly to the shifters, and a bit of damage to the paint due to heel strike and frame rub. The most notable fault is that one bottle cage bolt rivet is unseated, so the bolt will not come out. These are usually drilled out by bike shops quite easily, but, in an impatient rush for a cycling trip, I fitted a band-on adapter kit to house a cage, and it has worked perfectly, remained secure, and stayed on ever since.A brand new Bottom Bracket has also just been fitted; the wheels have been on for around a year. The rear mech was also replaced since purchase, so is going strong.
