Vintage BSA Raleigh Road Bike 62cm Frame
Stripped and painted a few years ago and fully serviced with new tyres/ brake blocks/ bar tape.
Colour: matt black.
Regularly interval serviced.
2×5 gear set. Lovely long gears- very quick bike on the flat.
Weinmann brakes.
Nutrak tyres with lots of life in them- have done perhaps 100 miles max.
Large frame would suit rider 6ft 2” plus. Would class as a XL or XXL frame these days.
Always stored indoors and oiled etc. I built this bike to keep so every effort has been made to keep it in good shape. Only selling due to loss of storage and working away from home in a flat. Gutted to not be able to keep it.
Would make a superb fixie/ single speed project if so desired.
Honest negatives:
Initial judder/ squeak from front brakes on application (need adjustment) Does not affect brake’s effectiveness
Slight squeak from bottom bracket bearing- needs regreasing (bike shop will charge you £20 ish for this) Still got miles in it before this job however
