I have for sale a vintage early 1980s Raleigh Medale 5 speed road racing bike with a 25″ frame that’s in good condition for its age but does show signs of wear and tear, some rust and some small scratches to the paintwork. I’m not a cyclist but I have given it a quick tidy up but I’m sure that it would benefit from being stripped down, cleaned and oiled and put back together again. And then you’d have an excellent machine with a great look.The gears, brakes etc seem to work fine but may need adjusting. The back tyre is in good condition but the front has cracks in the tyre wall.The paintwork is actually in fabulous condition with just a few minor scrapes here and there. All the decals are present and in great nick.If you need any more details then I will try, to the best of my limited ability, to answer them.I love watching races and have been to see Le Tour on several occasions but I haven’t ridden a bike since I was a little boy so I can’t really go into any technical detail for you.I can arrange delivery if you live a long distance away from St.Helens, Merseyside as I can get hold of a bike box from a nearby Bike Shop, and I have used a specialist bicycle courier in the past whose rates are very reasonable.I seem to remember it was around about £25.Thank you for taking a look at my listing.
