Vintage FW Evans Special Road Racing Bicycle Project Resilion Brake lauterwasser.
Believe it or not this is fully serviced and rideable (pic added during rebuild)
Thought I’d do something different and leave the patina
It’s 100% solid and I’ve done some 50 mile rides on it, certainly gets some looks
I think it’s a FW Evans but I’m no expert
It has some great early features such as steering head clamp, resillion brakes, drop bars and 26x 1 1/4 wheels
The wheels are off a newer bike. I added them as the others were not usable.
I’ve not used it for a while and last ride the saddle came away at the front
A nice interesting early bicycle
