Totally Rebuilt Vintage Raleigh Racing Bike. This bike was a ‘barn find’ in neglected condition.Its been completely dismantled, carefully cleaned and serviced as required, lt is now rebuilt with all the parts that came with it except it has new cables,tape and toe clips.It has been extensively road tested and it’s a nice ride.The bike is only for sale because l enjoy the restoration process and l can’t keep them all.
It has a 25″frame,suitable for a tallish rider,nice suntour rear mech,huret lug mounted front mech,alloy wheels and the original wrights leather saddle which is very comfortable but has seen better days,a more modern saddle is a available if preferred ( see photos) I have tried to date the bike from the frame number but found the lists confusing, the number is 69501 l think its 1972,not sure.
