Here we have a lovely looking Raleigh Flyer Bike/ Frameset which is ready to ride… just needs some wheels and a saddle! Everything on the bike seems original.
It measures 22”on the top tube (centre to centre) and 21” on the seat tube ( top to centre of bb).
The frame comes complete with:
– Weinmann Brake Levers and Brake Callipers, new Yellow Jagwire cables.
– Seatpost
– Unbranded crankset
– Sachs Huret front and rear derailleurs
– Down tune shifters with the Raleigh Logo
– Raleigh branded handlebars and Custom Stem. New Bluemells white bar tape.
As expected form a vintage item it does show signs of use. The paint work has numerous scratches and chips here and there. The most notable areas I have tried to show in the pictures… some grazing on the Raleigh downtube decal, the paint has cracked around where the seat clamp bolt will go (pretty typical… it’s probably been over tightened at some point)
An ideal staring point for the retro/ vintage bike enthusiast. Just add wheels and seat and you are ready to go!
