Rayleigh Pursuit Retro Vintage Road Bike 52cm Frame. Condition is Used.
I estimate that this bike is probably early eighties when it was new and definitely showing it’s age on the paintwork. Absolutely not a pristine bike but awesome patina to show that it’s a real 40 year old classic! And still a head turner!
When I bought the bike, I put brand new set Schwalbe white wall tyres on which gives the bike a lovely classic look. I also fitted a Selle San Marco Regal style brown leather saddle and some yellow grip tape to give it that distinctive retro Raleigh racing look. I replaced the brake blocks too and tuned the brakes and gears.
Since all these upgrades I have genuinely ridden the bike for no more than about 30 miles!
This is a lovey little classic road bike, ever increasing in value as they become rarer and more fashionable! It rides lovely and incredible value for money.
