I acquired this bike some 15+ years ago but never really got around to do much with it. It is old, mid to late 80s I reckon from a Google search. It looks like it has almost all original parts although I think I changed the pedals/crank to a lighter version with pedal straps.UPDATE: I have now found the original pedals and crank – last photo added. Included in sale.It is very dusty from storage but has little rust or deterioration. I pumped up the tyres last night and still appear to be well inflated – although they are old, possible original! I had a little ride on it. The gears need adjusting to work fully. Otherwise all operational.The whole bike is lightweight despite the steel frame. The Reynolds 501 tubulars were renowned at the time.I believe the bike is a Sprint but it could be a “L’Eroica” model. I really can’t tell.I have seen these bikes renovated and selling for well in excess of £100. Otherwise, this could be a lovely vintage bike to ride. Unfortunately, I don’t have the space, time or inclination to do so myself.Collection only I am afraid.
