Vintage Raleigh Record Sprint Road Racing Bike Size 60cm Reynolds 501 1986
This is the best version in my opinion with the Aerospace Contour Oval frame tubes, the gloss black paint really suits this design
Almost Original example of this popular Raleigh Racer with lots of factory features including Quill pedals, Gold Sakae custom bars with Original tape and Weinmann brakes
It also has a nice Sugino Black and gold chainset, freewheel and chain
Original Weinmann Black rims, Maillard quick release hubs and rustless spokes, Michelin World Tour Tyres keep it rolling
The original Selle Royal saddle is present however the foam and vinyl has been removed due to wear, I would replace this with a period Turbo saddle or Original saddles are available on Ebay
Overall this is a very nice example for its age and with a few jobs would make a very classy weekend ride
There is one snapped spoke in the rear wheel and i cant loosen the seat bolt, I will try again on this to see if i can release it
Remember its a used bike therefore will require some adjustments here and there
