Vintage Raleigh Solo 23″ Road Bike.In very good used condition, has just had a full service including new brake cables and new inner tubes.Ready to ride away – perfectly fits the bill for taking to L’Eroica Britannia this summer!Hubs are Maillard low flange and are dated 1986 – I have no reason to doubt these were original spec, therefore I am reasonably confident that this bike dates from the same year – making it 32 years old!27 x 1-1/4″ wheels built with Maillard hubs and original Raleigh steel chromed rims 630×17.Sachs Huret front and rear mechs.SR Custom double road crankset.SR Custom 1″ alloy quill stem.Chromed drop handlebars with 4 piece foam bar tape.Shimano 5 speed freewheel.Selle Royal Pullman saddle.Original Raleigh (Weinmann) alloy brake calipers.Weinmann dual pull brake levers.Both tyres have very good tread.Generally very good cosmetic condition for age however there are several small marks/scratches and the odd very small rust spot. Also worth mentioning there is a dent in the front rim, I have included a close up photograph of this, the wheel still runs true and it is not noticeable under braking.Please carefully inspect photos to establish cosmetic condition.Collection only.Any questions please ask!Check out my other items on eBay.
