Hello.
Very well built vintage (late 70s/80s) road bike in Reynolds 531 tubing. Probably a British builder and possibly a Raleigh (frame number suggests…).
Finished in fade paint and Colnago decals it looks great but is NOT a Colnago – it is however a well built bike. Very light and comfortable.
Lots of patina, marks, surface corrosion etc (please see images) but no holes, cracks or bends. Good to go as is but would be worthy of a respray.
Spec –
Seat tube 51cm c-c. Top tube 55cm. Approx.
Campagnolo dropouts.
Braze ons for mudguards, screw adjusters on rear dropouts.
New brake cables – inners and outers.
New gear cables.
Full Shimano 105 groupset.
New headset just fitted (black, not shown). Original just too notchy…
New bar wrap.
Profile stem.
Mavic / Shimano + Rimtech / Shimano wheels – 700c.
Vetta saddle.
Will come with pedals.
Rides good but please don’t expect a new bike – it’s over 30 years old!
