Here we have for sale a beautiful Italian Colnago Primavera Road Racing Bike
This is in amazing condition & is mechanically perfect having just undergone a very expensive major overhaul with many new parts being fitted including brand new brakes, shifters, chainset, front mech, rear mech, chain, cassette, bottom bracket & seat post all fitted during a full (gold) service (worth £150 alone) carried out by myself (an expert bike mechanic) using top quality Mobil XHP marine grease.
Equipment wise it comes with excellent Shimano Claris STI shifters which work beautifully, high power Claris dual pivot brakes with Claris front & rear mechs (the shifting is superb), carbon fibre ITM Millennium bars & stem with stainless bolts, Cane Creek headset with cartridge bearings, luxurious Cinelli Bar tape & Colnago branded Prologo saddle which all adds up to a great package which is superb value for money.
The bike has upgraded stiff & lightweight Shimano RS81 C35 carbon laminated wheels which cost over £500 new with bladed stainless spokes, Lightweight profiled aluminium frame tubing, carbon fibre aero forks & high quality fast rolling Kenda Koncept tyres.
The frame size is 22”/55cm which has racing style compact geometry. The bike rides beautifully & wants for nothing, you won’t be disappointed & will not find a better example at any price rest assured.
This bike has the option to fit a braze on front mech if required & the original mounting tab & fixings will be supplied with the bike.
It has an 11-25 cassette & 50-34-170 (compact) chain set which is geared for great climbing ability mixed with plenty of speed on the flats.
Every bike which goes through my workshop is subject to a vigorous 10 mile road test to ensure perfect performance & reliability so you can buy with complete confidence.
I can supply & fit a set of reflectors & a bell for this bike at no extra cost if required (just ask).
This would make a great gift for someone wanting to get into racing bikes or would be a superb & reliable fast commuter / delivery bike.
