The frame is constructed of 6061 double-butted aluminium and features slim, cross-ovalised aero seat stays for fatigue-reducing vibration absorption. To further filter out road vibration there’s also a carbon bladed fork. A tapered head tube with mechanically formed down tube improves responsive steering as well as promoting rapid forward progress. The frame also has features seen on Cube’s higher end race frames, including internal cable routing and a PressFit bottom bracket. Internal cable routing not only adds to the sleek appearance it also increases the durability of the cables by protecting them from dirt, as well as reducing weight thanks to the absence of external housing.
The Axial WS Race has been fitted with Shimano’s slick-shifting and reliable 105 2×11 drivetrain and disc brakes with large 160mm rotors that provide all the stopping power you need. There’s also a Cube wheelset with Continental Ultra Sport 2 tyres providing comfort and grip. All this is topped off with a stunning Cube finishing kit specially selected for female riders, ensuring you’re all set to take on any road.
